9 Rules for the 6 Acts

The suggested proposal MUST:

  • Directly propose solutions to problems within our current democratic systems

  • Be relevant to one of the following 6 categories and be submitted into the correct category

    1. Voting and Voting Systems
    2. Government Structures and Conduct of Elected Representatives
    3. Ensuring the Accuracy of Political Information
    4. Economic and Financial Influences
    5. Citizen Participation
    6. Other

  • Be no more than 100 words in length
  • Not contain any obscene or abusive language and must respect the spirit and dignity of the Six Acts project
  • Not duplicate any previously submitted proposal
  • Not be used as a means of protesting against, abusing or criticising other proposals, individuals or organisations
  • Serve to advance the effectiveness of the democratic system in general and not the narrow, partisan interests of any particular person, group or party
  • Be a serious, realistically achievable proposal and not simply a frivolous expression of frustration or wishful thinking
  • Be concise, cogent and to the point
The Six Acts Poll will be moderated. Our team of moderators will have the power to delete any submissions which do not fulfil the above requirements. While attempts will be made to contact the user in cases where a genuine error has occurred, moderators are not obliged to do so and unacceptable submissions may be removed without warning.
